Nice restaurant with nice food . The setting is nice but the area can get quite windy .
The wine-doolhof dark lady pinotage is uniquely rich and complex from the local grapes only grown in Cape Town area. The seafood platter. All local fish, calamari, prawns, black mussels. Sole, kingklip with garlic and lemon butter sauce, is amazing! The best are calamari and fish in the platter 🍖the mussels are a bit dry. But the whole thing is really worth it. The server, Liam, is super with his knowledge and superb service, make it a perfect experience for my very first meal in South Africa! Thanks 🙏 so much Dixie!
My first time at Dixies and I will return. I had a lovely experience. My waiter Marshall was very attentive and recommended the steak which I ordered. The rump was fantastic and cooked perfectly to my requested medium rare.
Dixies has a range of seating, outside, inside, tables, booths with many having a great view of the sea.
